Pre and Post Treatment Instructions for:
Pre Treatment Stay out of the sun or use a hat and sunscreen for at least 3-5 days Contradictions: Active cold sores Pregancy or breastfeeding Wounded, sunburned, or excessive dry or excessively sensitive skin Dermatitus and inflammatory rosacea Accutane use within one year Chemotherapy or radiation therapy for one year Allergies to salicylates (aspirin)
One week prior Avoid: Laser hair removal Hair depilatories Waxing
3 days prior Use a gentle, non-abrasive cleanser Avoid: Exfoliating products or scrubbing with a washcloth AHA’s Retin A Renova Tazorac Glycolic acids Retinols
Day of Avoid shaving
Post Treatment Gentle cleanser Physician approved moisturizer Sunscreen, Wear a Hat Exfoliating
Refrain from the following for a week Avoid: Exfoliating products or scrubbing with a washcloth Sun exposure or Tanning Beds AHA’s Retin A Renova Tazorac Glycolic acids Retinols Waxing
